TriAccess™ Health Care

If you become sick or injured, the triAccess™ health care plan will provide you with access to the best medical information for your condition and the funds necessary to obtain the best treatment at the top facility in the United States on demand.  The quicker you can receive treatment, the quicker you will recover and return to your normal every day activities.  This product is often utilized by corporations to ensure that the executive team will receive top rate treatment.  With a speedy recovery for the executive, the down time for the company will be minimized.

triAccess™ is partnered with the Best Doctors Program, which will enable you to confirm your diagnosis and recommended treatment with a team at the Harvard Medical School.  They will provide you with a list of the best doctors and facilities for your specific condition, and if you can not obtain immediate treatment in Canada, they will make arrangements for your procedure to take place in the United States. 

triAccess™ provides a $3,000,000 USD lifetime maximum benefit for care anywhere in the United States.  The plan will pay for diagnostics, surgery and treatment, as well as first-class transportation to the facility, meals, and accommodations.  Furthermore, the plan will pay for one immediate family member to serve as a travel companion.

If a company pays for the triAccess™ plan for you, these premiums would be tax deductible to the corporation as a normal business expense and you would not incur any taxable benefit.  Furthermore, all benefits received by you under triAccess™ would not be subject to tax.  Alternatively, if you choose to pay for the insurance personally, the premiums would qualify as a medical expense tax credit. 

With the triAccess™ plan, you may choose to purchase an Emergency Travel Insurance Rider as an added benefit.  This rider provides 60-day multi-trip, emergency excess hospital and medical expense coverage, including an extensive list of hospital and medical charges.  It has numerous additional features along with assistance around the world, day or night.  If you are sick or injured while traveling outside of North America, this policy rider will ensure that you are stabilized and, if possible, transport you back to Canada for treatment.  If you are not stable enough for travel, Royal & Sun Alliance will have you transported to the nearest accredited facility for treatment.  Furthermore, if you are in the United States when you become sick or injured, and they know that you will not get immediate treatment in Canada, Royal & Sun Alliance will make the arrangements for your procedure to take place immediately in the United States.  Unlike other emergency travel plans, this rider will ensure that you have one team managing your treatment and claims right from the onset.
